This past weekend, I visited Serenbe for the 7th Annual Afternoon in the Country presented by the Atlanta Chapter Les Dames d'Escoffier International. Serenbe is a 900 acre community located in the newly formed city of Chattahoochee Hill Country in South Fulton. This new city consists of 40,000 acres protected with a master plan that calls for 80 percent green space. Serenbe consists of three communities: Selborne, Crossroads and Grange. Living options include cottages, townhomes, live/work spaces, estates and farms with prices ranging from the high 300s to over 1 million. There is a beautiful Inn, organic farms, horse stables, restaurants, an art gallery, upscale shops and much more!
Serenbe is a must see and a wonderful day trip. I will be visiting Serenbe in December for it's 2nd Annual Holiday Bazaar on Sunday, December 2, 2007. The residents open up their homes to artists to display their work. It's an unique shopping experience.
