You won't be hungry on this year's Virginia-Highland Tour of Homes!  The tour will feature eight homes with a tasting from one of Atlanta's best restaurants at each home.  Participating restaurants include Atkins Park, D.B.A Barbecue, MetroFresh, Shorty's Pizza, Rosebud, Bella Cucina, Whole Foods, Murphy's, El Taco and La Tavola.  All proceeds benefit Highland Park - the new neighborhood green space at North Highland and Saint Charles.

The 2009 Grant Park Candlelight Tour of Homes features eight, beautiful houses lit with candlelight and holiday decor.  Enjoy touring the homes, caroling each night, holiday shopping at the artist market and fun with the kids in this year’s Winter Wonderland workshop.  Proceeds from the event benefit the Parent Network, the Grant Park Cooperative Preschool and St. Paul United Methodist Church.

2009 Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Christmas House

The 2009 Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Christmas House is now open on West Wesley Road in Buckhead and features holiday inspired rooms by the best designers in Atlanta.  This year's house features six beautifully decorated tablescapes dressed for the holidays with beautiful china, decorative linens, unique floral designs and amazing crystal and flatware. There will be various special events going on and the house can  be rented for your next holiday party!  Admission is $20.00, and the proceeds benefit the Alliance Children's Theatre.  The home is currently available for sale at $5,000,000.

The Atlanta Botanical Gardens has decorated the gardens with over 100 scarecrows made by local artists, community groups and businesses.  The best time to go is on Thursday evenings for Fest of Ale.  The garden stays open until 10:00 p.m. and serves Halloween-themed brews each week.

The Castleberry Hill Neighborhood Association presents it's 8th annual Loft Tour.  Castleberry Hill is a registered historic district and Atlanta’s eighth officially designated Landmark District. The neighborhood is located on the southwestern edge of Downtown just south of the Georgia Dome and CNN Center and is home to some of Atlanta's hippest residents.  The housing stock consists of "true" loft living with a sprinkle of new construction.  Most of the buildings used to be warehouses and plants for various industries that supported downtown Atlanta.  This is a must see!
