Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles Showhouse

Thursdays - Sundays through July 27th
10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Gate closes at 4:15 p.m.) 

The 2008 Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles magazine Showhouse is at Lake Keowee - approximately two hours from Atlanta.  It's worth the drive!  The organizers and designers have promised to make it a rememberable experience.  Once you arrive at the Village Center at the Reserve at Lake Keowee, you will be transported to the showhouse via boat.

I hope you are having a great summer!  As you may have noticed, there are very few tours during July/August.  However, as I was driving through downtown Jonesboro today to pick up a sign, I noticed an advertisement for a Pond Tour.  So here are the details...

9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Duncan's Landscaping and Maintenance, Inc. is sponsoring a self guided Pond Tour of nine beautiful ponds in Clayton, Henry and Fayette Counties.  Tickets are only $10.00, and all ticket proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.

Castleberry Hill Art Stroll

This past Friday, I received a call from a colleague who needed help hosting several open houses during the Castleberry Hill Art Stroll.  So, I volunteered to help and it was a blast!  If you have never been to the Art Stroll, it is a must "to do."  Castleberry Hillis located south of Marietta Street, north of I-20, east of Northside Drive and Spring Street.  The main drags are Walker and Peters Streets.  There was so much to do including gallery tours, shopping, dining, drinking and of course several of the lofts for sale were open as well.  For the most part, these are true, authentic lofts.  I was hosting 244 Peters Street which is in the Swift & Company building.  The next Art Stroll is Friday, July 25, 2008.

Hapeville Downtown Live & Public Art Showing

The City of Hapeville's Main Street Program presents the first Downtown Live of 2008 this Friday, June 13, 2008, from 6:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.  Activities include live music - Lauren Sellers (Rock) and Kristen Justice (Jazz), the unveiling of the "butterfly" public art project, food, drinks and much more! 

This is a great opportunity to meet the wonderful residents and business owners of Hapeville!

American Hydrangea Society Garden Tour

The American Hydrangea Society is sponsoring it's annual Garden Tour this Saturday.  The Hydrangea is one of my favorite flowers!  I bought my last house because it had a beautiful hydrangea garden.  The tour will feature six gardens around Atlanta.
